Our studio began as an art and design collaborative which grew into the firm we are today through perseverance and a number of word-of-mouth recommendations.

Hentosh and Rufener met in graduate school while pursuing their Masters degrees in Architecture and found a collective joy in the creative arts. Since the founding of hr dept. studio, the two have provided clients with unparalleled attention to their projects and an ethos of human-responsive design.
